Oh no!

My poor supported spindle has suffered the loss of it's nice narrow tip! I went to spin it and it just…gave way in my fingers. I can't say it's the spindles fault, for all I know it's because of how I spin it, which is more like a drop spindle, from the top instead of from the side.

I did contact the maker, not because I expected something from them, but just to let them know really, in case it's useful information. The seller was very apologetic and even gave me a coupon should I ever buy something else from them, which I probably will.

Thankfully I was able to carefully sand the tip and it's still usable, I even think I like it better this way. Thank goodness I didn't buy the other spindle I wanted, it's tip way more narrow. 😲
