What to do, what to do.

If you've read my opener post, or you know, read my blog name 😜, you'll know I patch my pants. Right after getting these pants I cut a bunch of leaves out of a previously made sheet of scraps and sewn/embroidered them on. I like these pants, although I have been ragged about them in the summer.

I'd like to keep the whole leaf look going, but I recently realized I had a hole on the right leg annoyingly centered between two other leaves…so now what? Do I slap another leaf on partially overlapping the other two even though none of my other leaves are even touching? Or should I remove one leaf and then sew a new leaf on covering the hole and touching the larger leaf? I like the big leaf so I don't want to remove it and I know myself well enough to know if I overlap leaves it's going to bug the shit out of me and I'll feel the need to sew a couple other leaves on overlapping in other places.

Sorry about the whole pants photo being a touch fuzzy, but I figured a nice flat just finished shot would work best and I thought I’d toss in a nice shot of my problem spot when it was nice and new, and yes, there is a leaf missing now.
